課程概述 |
1. 線上課連結：

2. 這個華語課程是「中級二B」程度，提供通過臺大國際教育中心華語課程「中級二A」課程者，或經由本校分班測驗判定適合學習中級二A班者。
This course is designed for those who have passed intermediate level 2A last semester in NTU or have previously studied Chinese for at least 540 hours or at least five academic semesters of Mandarin Chinese at the university.
3. 本課程所使用的教材為《實用視聽華語4》（第8課～第14課），以生活中常討論的主題為課程內容，幫助學生增加詞彙量，提升表達能力，希望學生能兼顧「聽說讀寫」四方面的語言能力，使學生生活不因語言不通而有障礙。
The textbooks used in this course is “Practical Audio- Visual Chinese IV” (the third version), Lesson 8 ~ Lesson 14. In this course, students will learn a lot of vocabularies and sentence patterns for developing and improving their ability to conduct independent speaking, reading and listening ability as well as producing paragraph-level texts.
4. Google Classroom：選課以後，老師會把學生加入。每個學生需要有「@gmail.com」的電子郵件帳號。
Students will be invited to join the google classroom when the teacher gets students' Gmail addresses(@gmail.com).

課程目標 |
1. 學生能讀、寫正體字，且聽說讀寫四項技能都能達到各課標準。
After this course is completed, students will know how to read and write traditional Chinese characters and their listening, speaking, reading and writing ability will reach the level required.
2. 學生能針對生活中常用的主題，簡單表達自己的看法，並與他人進行討論。
Student will be able to use the vocabularies and grammars they learned throughout the semester to express themselves and discuss various topics about daily life with others in Chinese.
3. 學生能習慣正常語速以及聽懂不同口音，並藉由學習課本中所討論的話題，讓學生學會怎麼不依靠母語在華人社會與別人溝通，並能進一步討論更深入的主題。
Students will be able to get used to normal speaking speed and understand different accents. Students will communicate with others without using their mother tongue, and can further discuss more in-depth topics.
4. 學生能直接且連貫地描述個人相關經驗與感受。
The student will be able to describe personal experiences and feelings directly and coherently.
5. 學生能有次序地說明計畫或事件，並能提出簡短的理由支持自己的看法。
Students will be able to explain plans or events in an orderly manner and can provide brief reasons to support their views.
6. 學生能與他人流利地溝通，並能從不同角度思考，舉例子說明自己的看法，與他人辯論，或是說服他人相信自己的觀點。
Students can communicate with others fluently and can think from different perspectives, giving examples to explain their own views, arguing with others, or persuading others to believe their views.

課程要求 |
1.除了沒辦法到台灣，或是隔離中的同學以外，請到教室上課。
Only the students who cannot come to Taiwan or during self-quarantine can take online courses.
2.如果是實體課程，到教室上課，請全程戴口罩上課，並與同學保持社交距離。另外，因為防疫的關係，上課時可以喝水，但不能吃東西與喝飲料。
Please wear a mask all the time at school and keep social distance. No food and drinks in the classroom (it’s ok to have some water when needed).
3.疫情期間，如果有上呼吸道症狀，請先告訴老師，並請老師提供網課連結，待症狀消失後才可以到學校上課。
During the epidemic, if students have upper respiratory infection symptoms, please tell the teacher first and ask for the online class link. They cannot come to school until their symptoms disappear.
4.請勿遲到、早退。如果缺席超過3分之一，成績會不及格。
Be punctual. Don’t leave class earlier than scheduled time. Students will be failed if they miss more than one third of total class in this semester.
5.上課時學生不說英文或其他語言。
Only Chinese exclusively in class.
6.每天除了上課的時間以外，最少還需要用2～3小時預習(preview)和複習(review)。上課以前一定要預習，要不然上課時恐怕沒辦法聽懂。
Prepare well before class; review what we learn every day after class.
7.上課回答問題時，為了可以更了解學習的語法和生詞，一定要用老師給的語法或生詞說完整的句子。
Use the given words and grammars to answer the questions in class.
8.上課時學生不該做其他事情，如寫功課、聊天、睡覺等與課程無關的事，違反此規定者每次將扣平時表現成績1分。
Students cannot do things unrelated to the class, such as doing assignment, chatting, napping. Those who violates this rule will lose 1 point per time from their class performance scores.
9.上課時，除了課程安排以外，不能使用手機、電腦等電子產品做跟課程無關的事，違反此規定者每次將扣平時表現成績1分。
Students cannot use mobile phones, computers, or other digital devices in class unless it is planned for the class. Those who violates this rule will lose 1 point per time from their class performance scores.
10. 按時繳交作業。遲交的作業不收，以0分計。
Hand in assignments on time. Late submission will not be accepted.
11. 若抄襲作業，或是找人代寫作業，經查證者，作業以0分計。
If students plagiarize assignments from others or ask someone to do assignments for them and it is proved to be true, they will lose all the scores of these assignments.
12. 聽寫不能補考。
No make-up exam for dictation.
13. 若學生未能在教師排定的時間考試（含平時考、期中考、期末考）或報告，一律以0分計。（若因病無法上課，以致無法參加考試或報告者，請先向老師說明，但總項一季以不超過2次為原則）
If students fail to take tests (including daily tests, midterm exams, and final exams) or make presentations as scheduled by the teacher, they will lose all the scores of the test(s)/presentations. (If students are unable to make it on time due to illness, please explain to the teacher first, and it’s limited to no more than totally 2 times per season).
14. 學生成績計算方式以教學大綱上公告的為主，學生不得要求教師調整成績，如curve。
The calculation of students' grades is based on the syllabus. Students cannot ask their teachers to adjust their grades or to curve the grades.
15. 老師所有的上課資料都會放在NTU COOL上，如果需要印出來，請自己上網列印。
All of handouts are on NTU COOL. Please print them out by yourself if it’s necessary.
16. 尊重老師及同學。如果上課中發生同學之間，或師生之間的爭執，或是上課時學生離題的情況，教師將視情況隨時打斷學生發言，以維護課程順利進行。
Please respect teachers and classmates. When a digression or an argument occurs, the teacher has the right to interrupt students’ speech class to let the class go on.
17. 若學生有任何情緒過激的反應（如製造噪音、摔東西、激烈言語等），導致課程無法順利進行，教師有權視情況暫停課程，並請學生至教室外冷靜後再回到課程中。若此情況頻繁發生且屢經勸導無效，教師將通報辦公室。
If students are experiencing strong emotions and their reactions (such as making noises, throwing things around, violent words, etc.) make it difficult to continue the class, the teacher has the right to suspend the class and ask the student to leave the classroom before calming down class. If the same situation keeps happening, the teacher will notify the office.
18. 請共同建立平等尊重的環境，禁止歧視言行。請避免任何與宗教、國籍、種族、性別、性傾向等相關的歧視言行。如果上課中有歧視言行發生，教師將視情況打斷學生發言，或是請學生離開教室。
For a respectful environment, please avoid any speeches/acts of discriminations regarding religions, nationalities, races, genders, sexualities, etc. If discriminatory speeches or acts occur in class, the teacher will interrupt students’ speech or ask the student to leave the classroom.

出席及平時表現成績 Attendance and Performance |

(1) 出席成績10%＋平時表現成績10%
Attendance: 10% + Performance: 10%
(2) 違反課程要求及課程規定者，一次扣一分。
Students will lose one point if they violate the regulations.
(3) 每堂課遲到或早退20分鐘以上，就算缺席一小時。
Late for class more than 20 minutes or leave class 20 minutes earlier than scheduled time will be regarded as one-hour absence.
(4) 每個學生一學期可有2次缺席(6個小時，含遲到或早退)，老師不會扣分。但第七個小時開始，每缺席1小時，就扣出席及平時表現成績1分。若有事無法上課，請先寫信告訴老師。
Students who are absent within 6 hours (including the absence that late for class or leave class 20 minutes than scheduled from class) will not lose any point. From the 7th hour (official leave are included), students will lose one point per hour.
* Students who ask for sick leave will not lose any points if they have medical certificates. |

作業成績 Homework |
20% |
(1) 作業包括預習作業及課後複習作業。
Some assignments have to be done before class and the others are for practicing after class.
(2) 預習作業請打字，並且上傳到谷歌教室；複習作業請手寫，寫完後交給老師。
(3) 預習作業的分數占作業分數的25%，複習作業占75%。
(4) 作業需在老師規定的時間內交回，晚交不收，分數是0分。
Late submission will not be accepted and students won’t get any point.

平時考成績 Quizzes and Tests |
20% |
(1) 差不多每次上課都有課堂小考（包括聽寫考試與課文理解），如果因故而沒參加考試的，不能補考。若一學期參加聽寫考試的總次數少於10次，則扣平時考總成績10分。聽寫範圍與時間均列於NTU COOL上，請自行上網查看。
There are quizzes in class every time (include dictation and true or false question based on the text). No make-up quiz provided. Students who take the quizzes less than 10 times will have 10 points deducted from scores of Quizzes and Tests. Please check the quiz time on NTU COOL.
(2) 每一課教完有單元考試。單元考試時間列於NTU COOL上。考試時間都是某天上課最後一小時。考試主要為筆試(含聽力測驗)。如果因為某些原因無法在指定時間參加考試，每個學生這學期只有一次申請補考的機會(需在考試後一週內完成補考，否則以0分計)。
There will be a written test (including listening comprehension) for each lesson (the total is 5 ~ 7 tests). The test time is on the third hour. Every student only has one chance to apply for a make-up test in this semester. Make-up test will be provided within one week.

期中考試 Mid-term exam |

期中考試為筆試、聽力測驗及口試。如果因為一些原因無法參加，必須先告訴老師，並完成網路上請假手續，才可在3天內補考。如果沒能於老師規定的日期考試或補考者，這學期的成績會不及格。
Mid-term exam includes written test, listening comprehension and oral test. Students who can’t take mid-term exam on scheduled date need to inform the teacher at least one day before the exam date, and then they can make up the exam within one week. Students will be failed if they can’t take mid-term exam or can’t take make-up exam on scheduled date.

期末考試 Final exam |
20% |
期末考試包括筆試、聽力測驗以及口語報告。如果因為一些原因無法參加，必須先告訴老師，並完成網路上請假手續，才可在3天內補考。如果沒能於老師規定的日期考試或補考者，這學期的成績會不及格。
Final exam includes written test (include listening comprehension) and oral presentation. Students who can’t take final exam or do oral presentation on scheduled date need to inform the teacher at least one day before the scheduled date, and then they can make up the exam within one week. Students will be failed if they can’t take exam or do oral presentation on scheduled date.
